This 6" Big Water strainer is recommended for pumps rated 1500 to 2000 GPM.
Lightweight aluminum self-leveling floating strainer designed for efficient maximum pump flows. Includes handle for ease of carrying with a compact design for storage. Integrated vortex shield protects against whirlpooling. The strainer has a full-time swivel to allow for any hose twisting during operation.
It is NOT recommended to us an adapter where the suction hose meets the strainer as the additional weight can upset the balance of the unit.
