Our "MADE IN THE USA" New York Roof Hooks are the ideal tool for prying, pulling, lifting during forcible entry, and overhaul. This tool has unlimited capabilities on the fire ground. This is truly a versatile tool with a powerful chisel and pry bar end. Our hooks are heat treated to meet or exceed ANSI specifications. They are built by drop forging high carbon steel. The body is made of a thick walled carbon steel tube and wrapped with Sure-Grip for a firm gripping surface. This hook can be the one tool used probe ceilings floors, and walls. The strong ends can pry apart joists, ventilate roofs and quickly pull down any type of material from drywall, tin and even lath and plaster. It has the durability to break open windows and doors, bust locks and hasps, and remove automotive trip. Leatherheads hook is the perfect tool for many fire ground operations. All steel used in this manufacturing process originates from the USA. There is an optional heavy duty 2 inch strap with swivel spring clip that clips onto (2) 1/4" chisel-steel attachment loops, making your tool easier to carry. The strap can be removed during use if you so choose. This strap must be purchased with the hook and cannot be added on later. The straps anchors are built onto the hook body.
