The fire hydrant flushing elbow attaches to the 2 1/2 inch NH / NST side outlet of the fire hydrant. The design of the flushing elbow is made to divert the main water force away from traffic and ground cover. A female swivel fitting allows the aluminum elbow to be pointed away from traffic.
