Crafted from cast aluminum, T-Valves are ultra-lightweight and extremely durable. The heavy duty brass valve stem provides superior strength and toughness. It has 1 1/2 inch female and 1 1/2 inch male threads along with a 1 inch male T-branch. The 1 inch male discharge is backed up by an internal shut off valve.
This Wildland Fire Equipment hose line "T" is used by the U.S. Forest Service (USFS), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USF&WS), National Park Service (NPS), State and Local governments, and other Forest Service–sponsored participants in the government-wide wildland firefighting effort.
